Marieta Smith

Marieta Smith graduated from the University of the Free State in 2020, followed by Community Service in Actonville, Benoni. There, she encountered a broad spectrum of people, conditions, and experiences, enriching her understanding of physiotherapy.

She joined us in January 2022 and has quickly proven herself to be a hardworking, friendly, and efficient physiotherapist. Her dedication exceeds expectations, making her a valuable asset to our team.

Marieta has attended various courses, bringing a fresh perspective and a passion for research to her role. Her dedication to providing top-notch care drives her to engage deeply with her clients, asking insightful questions and fostering meaningful interactions.

She is deeply passionate about treating all patients, especially those with back and neck pain. She focuses on rehabilitation and empowers her patients by teaching them self-care techniques.
Marieta believes in equipping her patients with the skills they need to manage their conditions effectively and efficiently. As she puts it, “I am a driven and motivated individual who is always eager to learn from my excellent and well-experienced colleagues and to develop not just as a physio but also as a person, giving back to my community.”

Marieta’s warm smile creates a welcoming environment for her patients. Outside of work, she is happily married and shares her life with her supportive husband and their pitbull, King. King adds joy to Marieta’s daily life and helps keep her active.
